About Us - Toni
Antoinette Cook, LPC
I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, attachment wounds, relationship conflict, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, direct, and trauma-informed, helping clients better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I am especially passionate about working with anxious and avoidant attachment cycles in relationships. I help couples improve communication, increase emotional safety, rebuild trust, and break painful patterns of disconnection without shame or blame.
My work focuses on how past experiences shape current emotions, relationships, boundaries, and coping strategies. I support clients struggling with childhood trauma, relational trauma, sexual trauma, self-worth, abandonment fears, people-pleasing, and difficulty feeling secure in relationships. As a military veteran, I understand the unique challenges that can come with military culture, trauma exposure, transitions out of service, hyper-independence, and difficulty with vulnerability and emotional expression.
I value culturally responsive and affirming care and work with clients from diverse cultural, racial, spiritual, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds. My goal is to create a supportive and inclusive space where clients feel respected, challenged, and empowered to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I integrate attachment-focused work, emotional regulation skills, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based approaches such as the Gottman Method to support healing, growth, and connection.
