About Us - Niki

Niki Ellis, LPC

Niki received her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, and has spent the last nine years specializing in substance use abuse and mental health at a residential dual-diagnosis treatment center located in Utah. Her focus during that time was addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, cultural and religious trauma, and LGBTQ+ trauma and life experiences. Throughout her career, CBT and mindfulness have been key modalities in her work, and is also familiar with DBT, ACT, and other trauma-informed practices. Her goal in therapy is to allow space for growth, reflection, education and resources her clients can use daily along their life journey.

Niki, also a Saint Martin’s University graduate, originally comes from the beautiful state of Utah. She is new to the San Antonio area and has enjoyed exploring the city, meeting new people and is excited about the diversity and opportunities San Antonio has to offer her and her two children.
